After nearly six months developing a version of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea for director Bryan Singer, he asked if I would join him on an X-Men spinoff for Fox Television.  Less than a week later I was in Texas, pulling together a pilot episode in a matter of two months.

The pilot was a mix of set builds, locations, and digital design for the menacing Sentinel Hexapods, the secret weapon against renegade mutants.

The short timeline was a challenge, but ultimately we created some interesting and sometimes exciting scenery, squeezing as much out of the budget and calendar as we could manage.
